He is also widely respected in the field of lighting design where he has received prestigious awards of merit from the Illuminating Engineering Society.

Another founding member, Lin Bacon has 27 years engineering experience in a variety of areas. His resume includes well over $100,000,000 in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Well known for his knowledge in the field of Fire Protection Design, he was appointed by the Mayor to chair the Fire Protection Consultant's post on the City of Tulsa Building, Housing, and Fire Protection Appeals Board. He has been reappointed twice and currently holds the post.
